Mohammed opened his eyes to the farm of his nomadic family. His grandparents were veterinarians and breeders at the same time. After his grandfather passed away, his dad used to herd the animals, farm the farms, and take care of his big family. After a couple of years of hard work and there wasn’t enough rain in their hometown, and the living conditions were so difficult. At that time, Mohamed had grown up and needed to study. His parents decided to move to another village where an elementary school is available. ” Why do we need to move to another village and leave our livestock? ” Mohammed asked his dad. “Studying is primarily,” Mohammed’s dad said. They traveled by camel caravan carrying their stuff, heading to the oasis of Tafilalt near the erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga.
Mohammed attended elementary school. Everything went well during that period. when Mohammed became a teenager, he found his magical feeling and his passion for the culture and languages amongst the magnificent golden sand Erg Chebbi dunes in the southwest of Morocco. There he led a new, unique nomadic childhood with his parents, where he wandered through the desert trying to stay in touch with tourists and having a casual conversation with them, even to learn their language and culture. After Mohammed learned some basics in any language, he started organizing some sort of desert activities, such as camel trekking and 4×4 excursion, to make everybody’s experience real and enjoyable. Though he found himself in the tourism industry much better and decided to attend the University of Moulay Ismail in Meknes city to continue his studies and to also improve his language. While he chose the English major, he determined to take some classes in other languages, such as Spanish and Portuguese.
After four years of studying at the university and working on vacations in the desert. Mohammed met a family from the United States of America, they witnessed that Mohammed speaks English very well. They suggested that to open a small travel company. Mohamed discussed this issue with his family, and his family accepted because they saw him as a good businessman with small things. His family sold one of their camels to earn sufficient money to make their child’s dream come true. Great things come from small things. Traverse Morocco came from a camel.
