Experience an unforgettable 3 Days Tour Marrakech To Merzouga, where you’ll travel through the stunning Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, visit the historic Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, and witness breathtaking views of the Draa Valley. As you venture into the Sahara, you’ll spend two nights in a luxurious desert camp nestled among the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes, offering a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
We will collect you from the hotel and start traveling onto and through the Tizi n‘Tichka pass, the direct route towards Ouarzazate. It is a spectacular and dramatic road that presents astonishing views of the snow-topped peaks of the Atlas as well as many Berber villages. We make a stop at AitBenHaddou to view the old and well-known Kasbah of Morocco.
We then descend into Ouarzazate which we pass to then cross the gorges and reach Agdz, where the palm grove of the Draa Valley lines. This is the longest river valley in Morocco. Later the trees will be gone and the strange rock creations of the volcanic mountains of Saghro will lead our way to the desert.
As evening falls we retreat to the comforts and luxury of our desert camp where we will be greeted with mint tea and fresh dates or nuts. The camp is set in a beautiful spot between sand dunes and gives the impression of being alone in the vast African desert while enjoying the comforts of a nomad king. We will enjoy a delicious dinner followed by campfire time beneath the starry African sky. Nothing compares to the millions of stars, silence, and peacefulness of the Sahara. We sleep in luxury canvas tents feeling like we walk into one of the stories from The Arabian nights.

After a sunrise Sahara Dunes photographic session, we will enjoy breakfast and then head off into the vastness of the dunes on a camel caravan accompanied by camelteers. The sturdy camel has been a mainstay of desert life over the centuries, being used to ship precious cargoes from Sub-Saharan Africa to the trading ports of the Mediterranean coast. You can ride or walk alongside as you slip into the pace of the caravan led by Berber guides and marvel at the awesome spectacle of the desert and the solitude a silence that comes with it.
We can possibly visit one Nomadic family living in the area.
We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the dunes and then return back to the desert camp in 4x4WD visiting possible local Nomads living in this region.
In the afternoon you can either do some different activities. ATV Quads, Buggies, sandboarding at the camp for trekking through the desert or relaxing in the many areas spread around the camp, reading books/magazines, and enjoying your dream stay in the desert.
As evening falls down we enjoy 3 -3-course dinners and then special entertainment will be provided around a campfire with music, drums, and singing from our Berber guides.

Leaving the desert behind you’ll head up into the Atlas Mountains to the Todra Gorge, a spectacular gash in the hills that surround Tinerhir. The region is dotted with deserted kasbahs, palmeries, and mud-brick villages, creating a photographer’s paradise. The cliffs loom above as you approach the mouth of Todra Gorge.
Rising to 300m, the honey-colored hues of the sheer face change constantly as the sun moves across the sky. Local Berber people can often be seen moving their herds through the gorge. Heading into the gorge you’ll have the chance to stretch your legs on a walk to fully appreciate the beauty of the area. Rejoining the vehicle you’ll retrace your steps out of the gorge and follow the route to Ouarzazate. Here we set onto the Atlas Mountains crossing them back towards Marrakech. Drop off at your hotel in Marrakech.
