Reviews & Testimonial

  • This is just a note to give you some feedback on my recent trip to Morocco. I had a lovely time and it far surpassed my expectations. Firstly my guide Mustafa was excellent. I always felt safe and he was really helpful and accommodating. On the second last day when I wanted to go to the Jardin Majorelle, he managed to fit it into the program and also I got there before the large queues developed. The accommodation was excellent- the riads were particularly lovely and the overnight stay in the luxury desert camp was truly magical. I was blown away by the scenery. There were too many highlights to list them all. I must go again! Thank you very much to Mohamed Amraoui at Traverse Morocco I will be recommending you to my family and friends.

American citizens and those from any European Union country do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Travelers of other nationalities should check the specific visa requirements or contact us.

Is a passport required to travel to Morocco?

Yes! Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned date of arrival.

Is it a safe trip?

Yes. Morocco is a peaceful country, and its people are very friendly and welcoming. In addition, you’ll be accompanied by trained and experienced guides throughout the tour.

Are there specific arrival times at the airport?

No, there’s no set arrival time on the first day, as transfers operate 24 hours and no tours are scheduled. This day is dedicated to welcoming travelers and transferring them to the hotel. However, arrival is in Casablanca, we recommend arriving in the morning or early afternoon so you don’t miss the special welcome dinner at Rick’s Café and have more time to settle in and enjoy the city.

Can I wear any type of clothing?

For women, it’s recommended to avoid clothing that is very tight or revealing, out of respect for local customs. However, wearing a veil is not required.

What are the accommodations like?

Our package includes double or triple rooms in hotels, and in the desert camp as well as in 5 star hotels. Single occupancy (private room/tent) is on request.

Most meals are already included in the trip, so your extra expenses will mainly be for a few lunches, personal shopping, and optional extras. We recommend bringing a mix of cash for small souvenirs or tips, but most larger local shops accept credit cards, and ATMs are widely available throughout Morocco. Bringing around $1,000 USD should be more than enough to cover your personal expenses during the trip.
